on May 11, 2009, 11:09:00 AM Some of the top East Africa’s bodybuilders battled for the Bob Classics Bodybuilding Championship title. Among them, four of Kenya’s best bodybuilders and three from Tanzania. The event was held at Sheraton hotel, Kampala on 3rd May 2009.

on March 16, 2009, 08:50:00 AM Matopeni (aka "Mad") gym is a hardcore local club in Kenya, located four kilometres from Eldoret town at Mailo Inne estates. Unlike most of other local gyms in the Afican continent, all the weights used were locally made using only sand, stones, soil and iron bars.

on February 26, 2009, 10:46:00 AM Edward, from Uganda, is one of the many young African bodybuilders who have made it to the national level after a few years of weight training. He started weight training in 2006 and first competed at the Mr Kampala in 2007.
