FAME-NTP Africa Championship results. February 4th, 2010 - Paul Mwangale was the overall winner and Ivan Byekwaso settled for second place at the first FAME-NTP Africa Championships held in Eldoret, Western Kenya last January 30th. The event was a success and saw the participation of 74 bodybuilders from seven countries: Angola, DRC, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and USA.

Muscle Evolution launches new website. February 3rd, 2010 - Maverick Publishing Co, publishers of Muscle Evolution, South African bodybuilding magazine, has launched a new look website: www.muscleevolution.co.za. The website also hosts Muscle TV, South Africa's first online bodybuilding TV channel, showcasing various interest-specific videos, such as competition highlights, training guides, personal tips and insight from pro athletes. January 27th, 2010 - The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has released the list of outstanding performers in 2009 and other individuals earmarked for honours at the 35th SWAG Awards Night later this year. Matopeni (aka "Mad") gym is a hardcore local club in Kenya, located four kilometres from Eldoret town at Mailo Inne estates. Unlike most of other local gyms in the Afican continent, all the weights used were locally made using only sand, stones, soil and iron bars.
