A ten-kilometre walk up the mountains and through the forest to a destination called Papaye Garden in the eastern region in Ghana. The walk attracted over 500 hundred participants. About 7 different Keep-Fit clubs were also in attendance:

The participants were gathered at Aviation Social Centre at exactly 6:30 am, on Saturday 26, September 2006, and were later conveyed with four 65-sitter buses and many other cars ranging from saloon cars to mini buses to Gyankama in the eastern region of Ghana where the walk took place. Also in attendance were the two directors of NTPowerHouse Gym who took these beautiful pictures of the event.
Soon after arrival at 8:15 am the ten-kilometre walk started from Gyankama to the Papaye Garden. Papaye Garden is a beautiful natural pleasure garden, which displays the trough beauty of Africa. Many tourists from different countries like Jamaica, USA and Canada were also in attendance. At 9:10 am everybody was at the gardens with only few people escorted by the Aviation ambulance service due to tiredness. It was an interesting experience. Since it was a fitness walk, no winners were declared even though some few people came first. Participants were allowed some few minutes to rest after which they were treated with open air aerobics at 9:45 am on the grounds at the garden for about 45 minutes led by aerobics instructors from Aviation Social Centre namely: George, Patrick, Daniel and Boniface with different kind of aerobics dance.
Soon after the aerobics there was what was dabbed as "treat of fruits" thus refreshment with fruits for the participants, which ended at 11 am. Finally, fun games started at 11:20 am. These included soccer and volleyball matches where no winners were also declared even though some keep fit clubs lost massively. These are some of the results from the soccer matches:

Abrepong 0 - Aviation  1
Ofie 2 - Russia 0
Fitness 0 - Hills street 1
Sukura 2 - Wriggle (pk) 0

Departure from the garden was soon after the games ended at 1:32 pm. Almost everybody was exhausted and fell asleep on the way to Aviation Social Centre. What a life time experience was it! At exactly 2:40 pm when we arrived everybody was virtually quite. Some were so tired that they had to hire a driver to take them home because they could not drive their cars home. Oh! What a day!!!
